Venice Projects

In 2017 I was invited to to take part in a small working party investigating plans to exhibit at a future Venice Biennale.

The seven artists and curators are from Bristol, Blackburn and Canada.

We stayed in Venice for a wonderful and productive week in October, visiting venues and meeting with curators and artists alongside exhibiting the Venice Vending Machine.

I secured a BBC Radio interview for curator Marina Marino and myself, and tweeted from the @artemotico account from the end of the show until early December gathering a steady flow of followers.

New exhibitions are in the planning stages, more exciting news to follow!

Look out for Anubis at the new scheduled Venice Biennale 2022!

Anubis Other World Tour:

In October 2017 a single Anubis schoolboy ran away to find the circus. He roamed the dark, dank and lonely canals of Venice seeking the light and crowds of carnival.

Recent artwork from Venice 2017, and a few familiar friends return to Bristol to watch the show.
